Windows Host Process Rundll32 32 Bit I ReceiveOn startup of Windows Vista 32 bit I receive the following error: Windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working If anyone can suggest a resolution to this issue Id be grateful. Try looking in the Windows System Event Log (Start Run eventvwr.msc) for more details on which service this may be. ![]() It now tells me: Windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working upon startup with Fusion. When I boot from the Windows Vista Ultimate partition natively (with Boot Camp), Windows works fine and I dont get this error. ![]() For the last 6 weeks I have been unable to use Fusion due to MS Authentication telling me my copy was not genuine (all the while it booted in Boot Camp just fine), and now that I called MS and fixed that, here I am unable to use it still due to this Rundll32 error. I have not been able to use Fusion for the majority of the time Ive owned it.much good it does me. Windows Host Process Rundll32 Driver Provided ByIt seems that the problem is caused by the Ethernet adapter driver provided by Windows update. Windows Host Process Rundll32 Install The DriverAfter i install the driver (optional update from windows update) the error messege pops up, no matter the vista is invoke from vmware fusion or parallels desktop. I have not installed the optional Vista Ethernet driver update. And my Vista Ultimate installation works just fine when booted natively in Boot Camp. I have owned Fusion since last August, and have only been able to use it for one month of that time due 1) Activation issues and 2) this Rundll32 issue, which remains unsolved. I even tried to get the booth people to look at the issue at Macworld Expo, but was pretty much politely told to go away.
